~ My Review ~
This story is full of suspense, intrigue and some mild violence
that keeps you on your toes till the very end. The author does a great job in
the twists and turns of the plot so that you can’t see an obvious end of story.
The hero is also not clear but we all want the hero to be the main man, Nick.
The scenery and background in the writing is done extremely
well. I felt that I was on the ship and island with them and it was believable.
Young fiery Ellie is a photographer out taking pictures in
Turkey and she ends up kidnapped by hot, hot Nick who is not a nice guy. She
gets confused and wonders if the Stockholm Syndrome is effecting her. I really
like Ellie for her strong stand she takes in standing up for herself even when
her captor dominates her in all areas. This does cause issues when Nick wants
her to be submissive.
Nick’s character was written so well that I actually wanted
to be his captive and not resist him. He
showed compassion and cruel toughness in the blink of an eye. Honestly I just
want him to be the good guy but you will have to read the book to see if I got
my wish.
