I have always loved two types of books. Time travel and Scottish Historical Romances but adding humor is a great twist to these two genres. I am first drawn to a book by it's cover then the blurb so of course I just had to read it because this cover is amazing.

This book is highly amusing with the spicy character Serafina giving Gerard a run for his time and patience. Her character isn't afraid to take back what is hers and it is quite refreshing to see her putting Gerard in his womanizing place.

This story is funny, fast and interesting with intrigue and romance all mixed together to give the reader an entertaining light read. The author does a fine job with character development and got me so interested in the back story to Duncan and Abigail from Just in Time for a Highlander, Book 1 of the Sirens of the Scottish Borderlands Series that I have added it to my To Be Read file in Goodreads.
