Finally a story about Lucifer that just makes me beyond excited. I love what the author did with Lucifer's character. Her unique writing style is used to create the perfect foil regarding Lucifer/the Devil. She was able to show the violent part of him with enough back ground history for it to make sense. I also like how she shows him being more that that horrible person we grew up hearing about. A person who loves and has a softer side. This Lucifer has a reason for why he does what he does. He stays hard to rule his domain as a softer side becomes apparent and this is handled superbly.

Nina is my idol. She sees beyond the monster to the person and is able to come to terms with both. This is such a refreshing story dealing with angels and fallen angels as well as life's checks and balances.

I give it 5 STARS.
