Bash sacrificed everything to save his sisters life, including his freedom. After three years of parole, he's finally ready to start over. When he meets a young ski instructor named Grace, falling in love was the last thing he expected. Bash can see his future in Grace's eyes, but his past won't let him go.

I was given this book by Story Cartel for an honest opinion.
~ My Review ~
I really love the fact that there were three stories going on at once though at times I had to slow down to make sure I wasn’t missing things. The story between Bash and Grace, Amy and Randy, then finally Beth and her husband Josh and their two children.

There is suspense, murder, and love involved keeping you interested to see where the next part leads you. The overall feeling of this book is redemption and overwhelming love and support of family and friends.

The book opens with the younger Bash and his sister Amy had a rough life after their mother died and their father turned to the bottle to deal with the pain. Bash makes a rash decision to save his sister’s life and ends up in the juvenile system. Eight years later at 21 he finally comes back into Amy’s life.

Then it moves into today and where Amy and Bash are in their lives. I love that Amy’s life was now happily married to Randall, a sheriff and they have a baby. Also the fact that she took this tragedy then rose above it while continuing to love her brother and believing he was a good person. There are times she seemed too naive to who her brother had become but don’t most people who love someone do the same.

Bash comes across as someone who wants to do the right thing but protecting people he loves.  He seems to make some decisions that are not always thought out causing further havoc in his life and theirs. But he does fall in love with a good girl and really wants to be a better person.

My one problem was that there were many misused or misspelled words in the book and it would be great if the author would go through the book again and fix them so future readers wouldn’t be turned off by them. For this reason I am giving it 3 STARS instead of 4 STARS.

For me I will read her books again as she does weave an interesting story and she did a great job in her cover choice.

~ About The Author ~

I love to a good adventure. I also love a good romance. As the mother of seven children I also learned to love to play video games. One day it occurred to me to write an adventure that flowed like a video game and I added a touch of romance. Thus, Hypnotic Journey was born.

The HJ characters are like a family to me. They are foolish, daring, resourceful and full of passion not only for life but for the friendships they have created in this world and the next.

My love for Science Fiction gave birth to the Treborel Series. Paranormal romance adventures featuring a psychotic villain and a multiple layer of hero's fighting to survive the chaos.

I write about how friendship and love can carry you through situations that you might not otherwise survive. You will find my stories exciting and steamy but I am not an erotic writer. I want my stories to stand on their own. My stories fade to dark when the steam begins to rise, but take it from me, the steam does rise and emotions do soar.
