Well this was a hot read..... not doubt about it. But also it was a well written story about loss and how someone deals with it instead of dealing with the grief. Quite honestly I am surprised that Jack didn't spin out of control sooner. For this reader he came across the pages as hot, hot, hot and truly won the reader over.
Gemma is a rock star because she truly understood her boss and her boundaries, working diligently to keep them in place. I do admire that she also kept her personal power in this making a tough decision and following through with it. Hats off to the author on this point.
Don't read this book if you don't like reading sexy heart throbbing scenes. For me I was enthralled with her development between Gemma and Jack.
I look forward to more from this author and give this a solid 4 STARS in writing and the hotness of the read.

Anything from Jane Austen to Georgette Heyer, to Mills & Boon and (more recently) 50 Shades, Clare is a romance devotee. She first turned her hand to penning a novel at fifteen (if memory serves, it was something about a glamorous fashion model who fell foul of a high-end designer.
