This spicy mouthwatering read will please all those romantics out there. Filled with emotion and steamy love scenes the reader will be in pure heaven. This is not one of those sugary everything is perfect books. It deals with real life issues involving families, public opinion, and personal choices that can and do tear families apart.

 Olivia struggles with being controlled by her parents, overprotected by her brothers and in love with two men. Her struggles were presented in a true lifelike manner and how she deals with her decisions show her struggle to do what is right for her. Although there are times that her character comes across weak the author balances out theses time with a very powerful woman who asserts her personal power.

 Both Will and Ian are typical dominant men. One is rich and one isn't. But this book doesn't deal with the differences between them as much as why they are friends and how they deal with their feelings for Liv and their friendship. Each of these men have deep feelings about who they are and how they relate to women. The author eases you through the changes they make after meeting Liv. It is nice to sit back and watch them make different choices in their lives that they wouldn't of made before her.

 I give this book 4 STARS for addressing taboo subjects in a graceful way.

 I love feisty women and this book is full of them. Delia's character is very entertaining and refreshing while leading the reader on a merry chase as she determinedly tries to find the nobleman who ruined her brother. She makes some serious mistakes but always takes responsibility for them and moves forward. What impressed me the most about her character was how she dealt with Warren after learning his startling secret.

 Though Warren didn't empress me in the beginning he did grow on me and I found him to be the perfect man to handle Delia. I first read about him in The Study of Seduction (Sinful Suitors #2) I was not expecting him to be as full of character as he was in this book. This pleasant surprise made for a fun read and there were times that I chuckled at the two of them. I also learned some new relationship terms from that era that just caused me to laugh out loud but seriously I am not saying they, you have to read the book. Warren's strange habits get explained towards the end of the book and once they were exposed I finally understood what drove him.

 As with all stories life isn't always perfect and it was heartbreaking to read who the nobleman was that cheated Delia's brother and how it effected everyone. The door is left wide open for a next book to this series between Lord Margrave and Delia's widowed sister-in-law, Brilliana. I sure hope it's about them...but we'll have to wait and see.

 I give this 4 STARS and want everyone to read this exciting romantic read.

An adversarial love story that takes the reader through a devastating time in Scotland's history. The author puts together a story that shows multiple sides to history and how people were reacting after the British slaughtered many Scots at the Battle of Culloden. 

She weaves a subtle love story amongst the intrigue taking the reader into the lives of Cait and Ian Campbell as they both fight for what they believe is right and wrong for Scotland. Somewhere is all this messy war there slowly emerges the possibility that all is not what it seems and these two begin the slow process of personal healing. 

For me I was impacted on how stubborn personalities can lose so much time, love and family in order to be right. This book shows that healing due to a feud can come even after forty years but both have to take a step. That you can never judge a book by it's cover. And that sometimes when you least expect it you fall in love with the enemy. 

The author does a phenomenal job of expressing devastation, anger, loss, hope and love while keeping the story forward moving. It is well written and keeps the reader stuck to the pages till the very end.

I give it 4 STARS and recommend it for those who love a little meatier story with their love.

 This book is seeped in Native American tradition and the reader will get a sense of how the Blackfeet and the Cree lived and thought. I was mesmerized by everything in this book but I will be honest in the first few chapters I almost DNF'd it. For those of you who don't know what that acronym means it is "Did Not Finish". I am not used to reading historical fiction and in the beginning it felt like I was in History class. Don't let this turn you off. History buffs will love it. People who aren't addicted to romance novels like me will love it. Even people like me who love to read romance and paranormal novels will love it.

 For me I connected with the story when White Calf and Raven's Cry starting to interact, the story changed 100 degrees. I began to understand why the author started the book like she did and I sat back and enjoyed the unfolding story.

 The words on the pages had me going back to a time where tradition was everything and people did things for the good of all. It showed how families lived together and respected the elders. More importantly is showed how love was formed within arranged marriages. But the struggle to live in a rough life was what stood out for me as well as how one could come to love someone they hated.

 Within this story is two love stories, both totally different from each other. My heart was appeased with these two and how they interweaved with each other. The secondary characters where just as impactful and developed as the primary ones leaving this reader fully satisfied when the book ended.

 I give this 5 STARS and recommend it for all readers who want a dynamic read with more substance.
